On Friday, Bruce and I visited Microsof headquarters in Redmond, Washington, and spent most of the afternoon at the visitors center. While there we experienced many of the new technologies, such as XBox Kinect, Windows Phone 7, Windows 8 operating system, Office 365, and the Microsoft Zune Player.
Both of us were utterly amazed at how far this technology has come in the last 35 years. To illustrate this advance, I have provided a slide show that captures many of these changes from the initial TV, the typewriter, the camera and so forth. Absolutely amazing!

In the days and weeks to come, it is my intent to post photos and share my many rich and fulfilling Arizona experiences. Hopefully, this blog will engender and create an interest on the part of the reader to know more about the diversity of the "Grand Canyon State" and possibly visit. (November 23rd, 2009)
I was born and raised in the cold country of Minnesota. After spending thirty seven years in education, retirement in Arizona was my answer. Today, my interests and passions include traveling, playing tennis and being with my grandchildren.
