Baby Princess Petra arrived to meet the world this morning weighing in at slightly over eight pounds. Her older baby sister of 21 months, Baby Iris, didn't quite know what to think. What an exciting moment for her mom and dad, brother and sisters, grandparents and great grandparents. When you think about it, a baby is the beginning of all things, wonder, hope and a dream of possibilities. One particular poem about little baby girls is especially fitting I believe,
Take a sprinkling of fairy dust, An angel's single feather, Also a dash of love and care, Then mix them both together. Add a sentiment or two, A thoughtful wish or line, A touch of stardust, a sunshine ray... It's a recipe, for a Baby Girl truly fine. Author Unknown
In the days and weeks to come, it is my intent to post photos and share my many rich and fulfilling Arizona experiences. Hopefully, this blog will engender and create an interest on the part of the reader to know more about the diversity of the "Grand Canyon State" and possibly visit. (November 23rd, 2009)
I was born and raised in the cold country of Minnesota. After spending thirty seven years in education, retirement in Arizona was my answer. Today, my interests and passions include traveling, playing tennis and being with my grandchildren.
