"All Wranglers and Gringos welcome at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch"

The Tanque Verde Guest Ranch started out as a cattle ranch in 1868, just a few years after the end of the Civil War. Today, the Guest Ranch is one of the last here in Arizona, and lies about 12 miles east of Tucson proper, right under the shadows of the Rincon mountains. This ranch boasts the largest number of riding horeses in th west and spreads over 390 acres.

If you've ever had fantacies of being a cowboy or cowgirl, this is the place to come, gringo or not! Here one can learn to ride horses to your heart content, and even play TENNIS too!

  1. That tennis court looks like one of those sandy carpet courts. The one we played on in November was more to my liking.

    Nice post.
